Vogt of St. John's University, delivered at the sixty-sixth annual convention of the Catholic Theological Society of America (CTSA), held in San Jose, California on June 9-12, 2011, in which he discussed the understanding of Catholic solidarity, the communion of saints, and an ethics of mercy.
