ABSTRACT
The article presents a speech by Amy Bach, lawyer and author of "Ordinary Injustice: How America Holds Court," delivered at the Chief Judge Lawrence H. Cooke Fourth Annual State Constitutional Commentary Symposium, held in Albany, New York on March 4, 2010. Bach talked about ordinary injustice, the fact that public defenders represented almost twice as the American Bar Association (ABA), affecting their ability to fulfill their duty. She also presented a proposal on the root cause of wrongful convictions.
