ABSTRACT
The article presents an inaugural address by Diane B. Ginsburg, the president-elect of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (AHSP), delivered at the ASHP Summer Meeting, held in Tampa, Florida, June 8, 2010, in which she discussed life as a teacher and a student, the fundamental misalignment in the pharmacy profession and practice, and the broken practice model in recruiting students to the organization.
