ABSTRACT
The article presents a speech by Donna Kennedy-Glans, founder and executive director of Bridges Social Development, delivered at the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, held in Fort McMurray, Alberta, in which he discussed the condemnation of tobacco due to cancer diseases, the negative impact on the oil development in Canada, and the need of implementing realistic policies for the economic and political development.
