ABSTRACT
The article presents the text of a speech by Michael P. Moreland, assistant professor of law, delivered at the "2007 Albany Law School Interdisciplinary Conference on the Impact of Technological Change on the Creation, Dissemination, and Protection of Intellectual Property," in which he discussed the conflict between anti-discrimination statutes and religious free exercise, Title VII of the Civil Right Act, and a recent decision in the Third Circuit involving the case Petruska versus Gannon University.
