ABSTRACT
The article presents a speech by Bill Lann Lee, acting assistant attorney general of the Civil Rights Division, U. S. Department of Justice, delivered at the Organization of Chinese Americans' National Convention Gala Banquet in Washington, D. C., July 18, 1998. He discusses on the civil rights of Asian Pacific Americans. He emphasized on the important role that the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) in the enforcement of laws regarding civil rights.
