ABSTRACT
The article discusses the report Cloudy Skies, Chance of Sun: A Forecast for US Reform of Chemicals Policy, by the Centre for International Environmental Law. The report highlights a growing number of state and local measures that are targeting persistent bioaccumulative chemicals such as brominated flame retardants. The report concludes that with U.S. Congressional elections in 2006, the long-terra forecast for U.S. reform of chemicals policy is looking better than ever.
