Here is information on the food pyramid. The foods at the bottom of the pyramid are the ones everyone needs to eat in the biggest amounts. At the top are the foods to be eaten in the smallest amounts. The number of servings needed depends on your age and body size. The serving recommendations include sparing use of fats, oils and sweets, two to three servings of milk, yogurt and cheese, two to three servings of meat, beans, eggs and nuts, three to five servings of vegetables, two to four servings of fruit, and six to eleven servings of bread, cereal, rice and pasta.
