ABSTRACT
Bluetooth Version 4 added a low-power capability to the Bluetooth standard. Originally the Wibree technology from Nokia, it was renamed Bluetooth Ultra Low Power (ULP) in 2007 and Bluetooth Low Energy in 2009. See Bluetooth.
