Carpet Beetle, an insect whose grub (larva) eats holes in carpets and clothing. The grub is about � inch (6 millimeters) long and covered with hair. The adult is a tiny oval beetle that eats flower pollen. It is black or brown, or spotted with black and white. Thorough cleaning and treating with insecticides will eliminate the pest.
