ABSTRACT
Incubator, a device that provides proper temperature, moisture, and other conditions for the development of certain kinds of organisms. Scientific laboratories have incubators for growing bacteria and protozoa, and for keeping tissues alive. Hospitals are equipped with incubators for premature babies. Poultry farms have incubators for hatching eggs.
