ABSTRACT
Guava a genus of tropical herbs and small trees. The common guava, native to tropical regions of North and South America, reaches a height of 30 feet (9 m). It has greenish-brown bark, large oblong leaves, and small white flowers. The fruit is spherical or pear-shaped and is 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) in diameter. It has a thin, yellowish skin and the interior of the fruit is white or pinkish.
