ABSTRACT
Riemann, Georg Friedrich Bernhard (1826-1866) was a German mathematician. He developed a form of non-Euclidean geometry called elliptical geometry or Riemannian geometry. The mathematical tools he developed made possible the theory of relativity later advanced by the great German-born American scientist Albert Einstein.
