ABSTRACT
Foot-and-mouth Disease, also called Hoof-and-mouth Disease and Aphthous Fever, an acute, highly contagious disease of hoofed animals. It is caused by a virus and occurs mainly in cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, and deer. The disease is spread through contact with infected animals. In rare instances, it has spread to humans.
