ABSTRACT
An encyclopedia entry for the National Aboriginal Conference (NAC) in Australia is presented. It is a national representative body which was established in 1977-1978 to replace a similar previous organization. The organization serves as a channel for communication between Aboriginal communities and the federal government. It also seeks to provide advice on Aboriginal issues to the minister.
