ABSTRACT
Information on cotton gin is presented. Cotton gin is a machine invented by Eli Whitney in 1793, which is designed to remove the seeds from cotton balls. The machine has revolutionized the southern economy and has helped perpetuate slavery. Cotton gin is consist of a cylinder with rows of wire teeth rotating in a box.
