ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "glargine insulin" is presented. Glargine insulin is a very-long-acting insulin. On average, this insulin starts to lower blood glucose levels within 1 hour after injection and keeps working evenly for 24 hours after injection. The definition from the "Diabetes Dictionary" also provides the term's pronunciation.
