ABSTRACT
The article presents an encyclopedia entry about corrective advertising. Corrective advertising are done when the U.S. Federal Trade Commission has ordered it after a firm issued deceptive, false or misleading advertisements. Its purpose is to bring consumers back to the neutral position they held before viewing the false advertisement.
