ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "United States Pharmacopeia" is presented. It refers to the pharmacopeia issued every 5 years, but with periodic supplements, prepared under the supervision of a national committee of pharmacists, pharmacologists, physicians, chemists, biologists, and other scientific and allied personnel.
