ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "tissue," is presented. It refers to a group of cells and their intercellular substance that perform particular function. There are several kinds of tissues including epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous. Areolar tissue is a kind of loose connective tissue which consists fibroblasts in a matrix of tissue fluid and collagen and elastin fibres.
