ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "Tinetti test" is presented. It is a measurement of functional ability in which the performance of 13 activities is observed. Some of the activities are sitting, rising from a chair, standing, turning, reaching up, and bending down. Normal, adaptive, or abnormal are rating scales.
