ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "surgery," is presented. It refers to a treatment which is performed by a surgeon for curing people from deadly diseases. In other words, it is a branch of medicine which involves operative procedures for correcting injuries, deformities, and diagnosis for the treatment of certain diseases. There are several kinds of surgeries including ablative, aesthetic, ambulatory, antenatal, and aseptic. The synonym for surgery is operation.
