ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "S-T interval" is presented. It refers to the interval in an electrocardiogram which represents the ventricular repolarization. An elevation of the S-T segment can be witnessed in several disorders including myocardial infarction, Prinzmetal's angina, and ventricular aneurysms.
