ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "Shenton's line" is presented. It refers to a radiographical line that is used to determine the relationship of the head of the femur to the acetabulum. It follows the inferior border of the ramus of the pubic bone and the curve down the medial border of the neck of the femur.
