ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "seed" is presented. It has various meanings. The term refers ripened ovule of a spermatophyte plant which generally consists of the embryo and a supply of nutrient material enclosed within the seed coat. Capsule containing radon for use in the treatment of cancer is also known as seed.
