ABSTRACT
A definition of "Rubner's laws" is presented. There are two Rubner's laws. The first law is law of constant energy consumption, which states that rapidity of growth is proportional to intensity of the metabolic process. The second law is law of constant growth quotient, which states that the same proportional part, or growth quotient, of total energy is used for growth.
