ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "rice water, boiled" is presented. It refers to the water remaining after rice has been cooked in it and removed. It was earlier used as an oral rehydration agent, particularly for children with diarrhea. Oral rehydration solutions offered a better supply of fluids and electrolytes.
