ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "rate of perceived exertion" is presented. It refers to a category and category-ratio scale that has been developed by physiologist G. A. Borg. A patient reports his or her level of effort during exercise through category-ratio scale . The scale correlates well with metabolic variables and cardiorespiratory.
