ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "pyramid" is presented. The term has multiple meanings, one of which refers to a solid on the base with three or more triangular sides that meet at an apex. Another meaning for the term is any part of the body resembling a pyramid. It also refers to a compact bundle of nerve fibers in the medulla oblongata.
