A definition of the term "projective technique" is presented. It refers to Any one of several forms of psychological assessment or evaluation with the use of ambiguous activities and tasks which encourage self-expression, the products or results and the verbalizations of individual about them are evaluated and interpreted to determine indications of unconscious needs, thoughts, or concerns.
