ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "projection" is presented. It refers to the act of throwing forward, or a part extending beyond the level of its surroundings, or the mental process by which sensations are referred to the sense organs or receptors stimulated, or the distortion of a perception as a result of its repression, or the path of the x-ray photon beam in radiology.
