ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "prism" is presented. It refers to a transparent solid. The three sides of the transparent solid are parallelograms. The bases are perpendicular to the three sides and are triangles. Light rays passing through a prism are deflected toward the base of the triangle. Simultaneously, the light rays are split into the primary colors.
