ABSTRACT
A definition of the term "poliovirus vaccine, inactivated" is presented. This term refers to a poliovirus vaccine used for the prevention of paralytic poliomyelitis. The vaccine should be given to all infants and children. Infants should be given three doses of the vaccine.
