ABSTRACT
The definitions of the term "micrograph" are presented. Micrograph refers to an apparatus for magnifying and recording minute movements. It also refers to photograph of an object seen through a microscope. The term originated from the Greek words "mikros," meaning small, and "graphein," meaning to write. It is synonymous with photomicrograph.
