ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "logorrhea" is presented. Logorrhea refers to the repetitious, continuous and excessive flow of speech seen in insanity. The term originated from the Greek words "logos" which means word and "rhoia" which means flow. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co.
