ABSTRACT
A definition the scientific term Lagochilascaris is presented. The term comes from the Greek word lago meaning hare, cheilos meaning lip and askaris meaning intestinal worm. It is a genus of parasitic worms that may infect the skin, esp. in residents of or travelers to the Caribbean.
