ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "hypolymphemia" is presented. Hypolymphemia refers to the decreased amount of lymphocytes in the blood, with a normal number of leukocytes. The term originated from the Latin word "lympha" which means lymph and from the Greek word "haima" which means blood. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co. The pronunciation of the term is also provided.
