ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "hexosephosphate" is presented. Hexosephosphate refers to a phosphoric acid ester of glucose; one of several esters formed in the muscles and other tissues in the metabolism of carbohydrates. The term originated from the word "hex" which means six and "phosphoros" which means phosphorus.
