ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "hemathermal" is presented. Hemathermal refers to the warm blooded; applied to animals whose blood remains at a fairly constant temperature. The term originated from the words "haima" which means blood and "therme" which means heat. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F. A. Davis Co. The pronunciation of the term is also provided.
