ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "gallium" is presented. It is a rare metal, small amounts of which are found in bauxite and zinc blends. The term originated from the Latin word "gallia" which means gaul. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co. The pronunciation of the term is also provided.
