ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "eikonometer" is presented. Eikonometer refers to an optical instrument used in detecting aniseikonia. The term originated from the Greek words "eikon" which means image and "metron" which means measure. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co. The pronunciation of the term is also provided.
