ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "anamnestic reaction" is presented. Anamnestic reaction refers to the rapid reappearance of antibodies in the blood as a result of a second contact with a foreign antigen caused by the presence of antigen-specific memory B cells. The definition is taken from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co.
