ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Biorphen, a proprietary, prescription-only preparation of the anticholinergic orphenadrine hydrochloride. This drug can be used to relieve some of the symptoms of parkinsonism, especially muscle rigidity and the tendency to produce an excess of saliva. Furthermore, th drug has the capacity to treat these symptoms, in some cases, where they are produced by drugs.
