Information about the term "sentimentality" which refers to the quality of possessing feeling or emotion is presented. It mentions that a reader may condemn or identify an emotional treatment in excess of its object, a false or contrived response that is not convincingly appropriate to an occasion. It adds tha the concept of sentimentality is described as a confrontation between the conventional and the personal.
