ABSTRACT
The article presents a survey of professional stereo microphones of single-body dual-capsule design for recording studios. Products reviewed include The Audio Engineering Associates (AEA) R88 stereo ribbon, Audio-Technica's AT825 microphone featuring X/Y recording and Beyerdynamic's MCE 72 microphone with two cardioid electret condenser capsules and suitable for X/Y recording.
