The article evaluates the 1916 condenser microphone invented by Edward Christopher Wente, its design, bandwidth and other details. The Shearer Horn sound boxes made in 1935, featured high SPL/high fidelity performance for theatres. The 1954 Hammond B-3 tone wheel organ designed by clock maker Laurens Hammond had great effect on the musical styles, the sound by this instrument cannot be duplicated by any synthesizers.
