ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the Aviation and Aerospace Industry manufacturing Summit organized by the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University held near Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas in October 2013. The article informs that former Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England was the keynote speaker. He spoke on technological innovations and its usefulness in economic development. He also raised concerns on reduction in number of students studying aerospace engineering.
