ABSTRACT
Information on a cultural convention concerning the German state of Saxony-Anhalt held in Wittenberg, Germany on January 28, 2013 is presented. The main focus of this convention was the German cultural policy with special attention to Saxony-Anhalt. Other topics mentioned in this article include government aid to cultural institutions such as theaters and orchestras, the convention's host Olaf Zimmermann, and German government policy.
