This article presents highlights of the Africa Symposia hosted by international law firm Slaughter & May in London, England in June 2013. The event was an opportunity for African law firms and global clients to gather and engage on issues in the legal industry, particularly the issue on business prospects in Africa. Mark Simmonds, Minister for Africa, addressed the audience.
