ABSTRACT
Information on several presentations related to biomechanics at the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SCP) conference is presented. The topics discussed include the effect of foot orthoses on running economy in flat-footed runners as compared to that in normal footed runners, the scope and future of podiatry and the study of foot orthoses bone stress using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and reductive techniques.
